Letter from Chris
In the following blog post you can read a letter from our mountain bike guide and coach Chris Brown.
I am Chris and I will be one of the mountain bike guides and coaches for Singletrail Verbier this summer. I am a passionate skier and a Canadian level 3 ski instructor and freestlye skiing coach. Skiing has taken me all over the world from the Canadian Rockies to the Australian Snowy Mountains.
In Banff, Canada I experienced the 'taste' of true mountain biking, taking part in downhill, enduro, cross country and dirt jumping and ever since I have been addicted to the sport. I also worked on a trail building crew there which involved a lot of maintenance of existing trails and we even built a new trail (Topp Notch on the back of tunnel mountain)
I came to Verbier in 2015 for the skiing and last year I spent my first summer here. I was completely blown away by the massive variety of trails - the length of the manmade bike park tracks and single trails, all within close proximity of the lift station.
I rode almost every day last summer and there was more than enough to keep me entertained the whole time. This summer I'm really looking forward to exploring some of the lesser known trails as well as showing visitors to Verbier around this beautiful area and reminding Andras on a regular basis that I still hold the strava KOM time on the Patier track!
Hope to see you soon and happy riding.
