Summer has begun! The snow between Verbier and Le Châble has melted and the mountain biking trails are in great condition! Today we rode up the Route de Soleil and took the singletrack from Sarreyer to le Châble, a short ride but with some really nice sections which aren't too technical. The corners were grippy with just enough moisture in the ground to keep your tyres sticking but not so much that you got too muddy.
This week we have also checked out the conditions on the Patier red track and the Médières run, both of these were riding nicely but you just need to be careful of a couple of fallen trees.
The gondola le Châble-Verbier is running until the end of April from 11am for mountain bikers so if you're coming up for a ski bring the bike as well and take advantage of being able to ski in the morning and ride in the afternoon.
